2012-07-05 — QBU-10 Military 12.7 mm sniper rifle, the final production version of the QBU-09 12.7 mm sniper rifle, is mainly used for the allocation of PLA army’s special forces, marines to against targets within 1000 meters, including lightly armored vehicle, firing points, personnel, fortifications, light-duty vehicles, radar and other important objects. It can also suppress or attack cluster targets within 2000 meters. The rifle is equipped with white light and infrared thermal imaging sight with day and night operational capability.

QBU-10 Military 12.7 mm sniper rifle, is designed in gas operated and barrel short recoil hybrid automatic principles to reduce recoil and improve shooting accuracy.

As the length limitation in tactical constraints, a single-chamber muzzle, but the same to retire effects with dual-chamber system, and reduce the weight. The magazine of five rounds of double shells, and designed with the observation hole.

The rifle is in semi-automatic firing while trigger force is 1525 cattle. The sniper bullet muzzle velocity is 825 m/sec, multifunction projectile is 840 m/sec.
